The first 2022 FLTF board meeting on behalf of the Four Lakes Special Assessment District will now take place on March 3rd. The meeting is open to the public. Please note this change on your calendar.
March 3, 2022, 5:00-7:00 p.m. | Grace A. Dow Memorial Library On January 15th, we hosted the first of four Preliminary Days of Review. During the 7-hour period, 67 property owners met with Spicer engineers and FLTF board members to discuss their parcel benefit factors.
Property owners sat one-on-one with an engineer to ask questions, review their property on screen and discuss their assessment. Participants said they found the session helpful and were glad they attended. Please plan to join tonight's session (Feb. 17) if you have questions about your parcel(s). 1. It's possible there will be a wait to be seen. We will work as quickly as possible and we thank you in advance for your patience.
2. To expedite the process, please bring the parcel ID number for all parcels you want to discuss. If you're able to, fill out this card beforehand and bring it with you.
The Four Lakes Special Assessment District (SAD) map is an interactive map that shows property owners their estimated annual operations assessment. Below is a demonstration of the benefit factors.
As you can see in the below example, the colorful map layers (the transparent shapes) are not perfectly aligned with the actual parcel boundaries. This is nothing to be concerned about and is the result of the data and software program. Tip: If you click on your parcel in the map but don't see your estimated assessment amount, scroll down in the pop-up box. If you plan to attend one of the Preliminary Days of Review to have a one-on-one discussion regarding your operations assessment, here are some things to know:
Three things you can do if you think your estimated operations assessment factors are wrong or if you have questions:
All property owners in the Four Lakes Special Assessment District should receive a letter in the mail from FLTF within the first two weeks of February 2022. The purpose of the letter is to inform property owners of upcoming opportunities to have a one-on-one discussion regarding your tentative special assessment via the Preliminary Days of Review. The letter also shares information regarding the special assessment hearing and appeal process.
If you did not receive a letter please let us know by filling out the form below. |
